Testing/whoring out the new tires offroad.
After 2 weeks I finally had a chance to get the truck off the pavement and see how the new tires performed in the dirt. I was impressed with how much they smooth out the ride on the trail and they hook-up really well in the loose dry dirt that I was playing around in. I was never at a loss for traction, I didn't tackle anything too intense but was quite happy with how they performed compared to my old tires. Here's a few pics!

Thanks everybody!
As for the bumper I am putting on a new factory valance for now, I smashed it up 2 winters ago and just pulled it off planning on building something to put on it. But I cant figure out what to do so I have a new valance ordered for it and might get a westin bull-bar w/some PIAA's to keep it protected from the snowbanks! Snowbanks and -30celcius = shatter

I don't expect it to do much, but It will at least bump into things before i push the valance up against it and break any ice in the snow. When I broke mine i just slid into a snowbank while turning around, walked on the gas and did a 180 on an icy road that was a little icier than expected and did a 270 into the bank the snowplough cut out. I didn't hit it hard but when its that cold plastic freezes and shatters instead of bends If I had have had a bullbar there it would have taken the bump instead of the plastic.

Nope,, Goodyear Wrangler Territories, I think they are only sold through Canadian Tire stores. They are pretty comparable, I was going to buy Duratracs but these went on sale first so I decided to give them a try.

Thanks! I almost had them powder coated black but they suit the truck pretty good so I left them alone.

Thanks I am happy with them and they make the truck look much better, getting allot of compliments on how much better they look on the truck than the old wheels/tires. I cant wait for the snow to fall and see how well they plow through that! as i laugh at all the dummies in cars w/all seasons stuck all over the place.
