Got invited out to TWS Shelby Track day on Sat. Had a blast. Took a couple of pictures, alot of video. Wished it would have come out better. I have some video skills I need to work on. This also was the unveiling of Shannon Guderian (Late Model Resto's president/owner) 2011 RTR coupe. The car spent all day being beat on by Shannon and the car looked good as the beatings continue. I was lucky enough to be able to take a ride along for a couple of laps in a 2000 Cobra R that pretty much had the Kenny Brown catalog thrown at it. Talk about RAW in your face STUPID power. Anyway here's some pics, I'm working on the video's now...more to come:

We had 2 Terlingua Cars there....don't let the v6's fool you. The blue bunny (w/automatic) was keeping up with a Porshe all day long)

I saw the most amazing shelbys today at work. I should've took a picture.

 

Morris- YES it is a former TEXAS SSP car. Restored but has one mod. a 99 Cobra motor powering it.

04XLTFX4- no early car's....there was a factory 5 car...and a couple 4 eye stangs.

there actually was alot of corvette's there...Shelby's just had a meetup there....but it's open to everything...had a VW GTI, couple miata's.

Went back out today...this time took my wife and let her shoot the pics....pretty hard. Keep in mind that these car's are going 140+ on this back stretch...LOL

 

forget killing someone, i'd give my left nut and first born for that SSP.

That looks like a fun time. I'd love to be able to get my car out on a track like that and see what it can do.
