Jet boat, 2011 5.0, and HID's
Hey, guys. I haven't been on here for a while, but I have good reason for it. The past few months have been busy with new projects to work on. First off, I've been workin on building a shop in my barn with a 2 post lift. Still waiting on cement, but it's getting close to being done. Next, I just bought a 73 Sidewinder Jet boat with a Oldsmobile 455 Big Block and I'm hoping to get it done before it's too cold to even use it.
I tore apart the engine and found out it has been bored .30 over with aluminum roller rockers, aftermarket cam, edelbrock torker intake, 650 Holley carb, high flow oil pump, Mallory distributor and electric fuel pump, and Moroso valve covers. Needless to say, this thing is going to haul lol.
Interior needs carpet and seats cleaned.
Next, my dad just got a new 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 which is pretty damn awesome
New 5.0 next to my 91 5.0
And finally, new headlights with HID's
waiting until it gets dark to align the headlights, so don't worry

Yes, it's jet driven and hopefully very fast and loud lol
I think they are called BW2 side skirts from Ground Dynamics, but I modified them to have my custom side exhaust go through. I always wanted the Roush side exhaust, but nobody makes a kit for the fox mustangs so I made my own.

Brian, I’m just finishing up building a boat from the ground up (28 foot all aluminum) with an olds 455 with a berkely jet drive. We bored ours out .030 over with the torker intake, 700 Holley, mild race cam. All I have to say with that engine is BE CAREFUL with the high flow oil pump. The biggest problem with those engines is that it will suck up too much oil in the top end and dry out the oil pan. We left the stock one in there and added an extension to the oil pan (total 11 quarts now) so that it will never be thirsty. Make sure when you’re running @ high rpms that you watch your oil pressure gauge. Other than that, the engine is solid and is extremely torquey (sp?)
Good Luck!!!
