took off the cap--for now.

took off the cap--for now.

took cap off to clean up where the boot seats against the cab and wore piant off. also removed the bedliner, very dirty underneath, as far as i know it had been on since new. probly put it back on before winter. Name:  new010-1.jpg

You should really ditch those steps! What an eye sore!

Was that and old compression boot you had on the front of the cap?
I know most people say they hate those. Noisy and wear off paint.
I'm thinking of putting one on the cap for my F150. I don't think it will be noisy because there is not nearly as much movement between the bed and cab of the F150 as there was on the ranger. The boot would be in contact with only the rear window in most spots, and I think I would put clear vinyl (like a clear bra) on the paint where the rubber boot would touch it.

Looks better w/out the cap, imo and I'm with Brian, I hate side steps.

Take those side steps off and the Mud flaps. it would really clean up the look. you coming to the summer ohio meet?

i think he posted about them before, yea they are low but i think he needs them like that. i'd man up and get a spray on liner or a do-it-yourself one.
