GF has a 2012 exactly like yours. Would love to be able to afford one though, they are a blast to drive. No better feeling than driving with the doors off.

Your ole lady has a nice Jeep.

98liftedranger 07-10-2012 08:09 PM

X2! What lift is on that?

98liftedranger 07-11-2012 02:03 PM

So a front plate is required in CA so I can't remove it. Bummer!

Boo!

01RangerEdge 07-11-2012 03:17 PM

Just put it on the skid plate

PSIJOE 07-11-2012 05:02 PM

Nice dude. Congrats.

Rock the paper plates till you get pulled over. Then just say you are waiting for the dmv to get other plates. Keep the window sticker in on the windsheild. You'll be good.

SteelDirigible 07-11-2012 05:56 PM

just live in a better state.

Incorporate it into a front hitch and keep saying you just got home and haven't had a chance to put it back on. At SL I took my front one off, which has my annual sticker. Idk why they put it on the front. Both sticker and plates....

Its because your Canadian.

I usually run without a front plate, when I get pulled over I make up a bs story about not having a license plate bracket and Ford doesn't have them in stock, so it's on order.

Congrats on the new whip. Beep beep who got the keys to the jeep? :biggthump

Nice little Jeep 265/70R17's fit in there really good with no other mods whatsoever. Helped set my buddies up until he goes to 37's and 3-4" of lift.

I will look at it tomorrow. I don't have plates yet but I will still look. I thought about that too so that has been on my mind.

I was planning on that. lol I don't like plates. But I think they would get suspicious if I don't have them a year later. lol

Yeah I thought about that too. I could just leave the plate in the jeep and tell them that I ordered a new bracket and am waiting for it.

I don't want 17's because the tires are expensive. lol I want to run 15's again for now. I don't even know if I have 16's or 17's. I keep forgetting to look.

Adam, found your inspiration Jeep (minus the extra two doors and color):

Kris stop spending my money or you will get banned! haha

I like this one minus the wheels.

https://www.ranger-forums.com/attach...ine=1342136249

Or this one.

http://frankencars.com/wp-content/up...er-Picture.jpg

And I have 16's.

FULLSCALE 07-12-2012 06:30 PM

Not the bottom one... too much colour! Definitely the top one without those wheels. Will 15s even fit over those brakes?

98liftedranger 07-12-2012 07:04 PM

Yeah the bottom one minus the ptm fenders and too.

And it doesn't look like 15's will fit. The 16's are kind I tight as it is.

ranger 07-13-2012 11:19 AM

Right on man, now you need to hit up corral canyon !
