glad to hear you loving the jeep! allot of people seem to be trading in for a jeep lately, myself included. dealer offered me a deal i couldnt refuse for my ranger and im getting a 2012 4 door rubicon. the new jeeps drive amazing and have way more power than the rangers.

congrats on the jeep, love that orange too!

wouldn't need to do anything to it though aside wheels because moabs are gay lol. he's looking for a 4 door JK. I like TJ's a little more but its cool that you can just change the fenders/flares on a JK and throw a set of 35s on it

Yeah I can take the fenders off or trim them enough to fit 35's. But I don't want to yet. When I lift and get tires I will also need gears and a new d-shaft so I will be saving and doing it all at once. Within the next year most likely. Trying to get my student loans paid off first though or mostly paid off.

Oh and I put about 125 miles on it today with the top off and the doors off. My arms and left leg are sunburned like a **** but other then that it was great. I have just over 900 miles on it now and am liking it more and more each day.

Lol I need to get more. I think I only have one can. Maybe I'll do it on my next day off. I don't want to do 3 wheels and run out. Lol

I got 16.5 mpg on the last tank with 3/4 of that top and doors off and city. Not too bad. Only $50 to fill up and I'm creeping up on 1000 miles.

6" + 40's God they look small in there, makes me sick at how much room the JK's have. .... I'm guessing 10ish mpg's after gearing.... But at least it's not a mall crawler..

this is 6" + 37's on an 09 Rubi...

She hates mud, but since I got stuck she had to try it... She didn't make it either... I'll try and find a not mud covered photo, but I like how this one came out.

The inner fender liner had a recall so she opted for removal once she put on the new flares...

Not mine, just one of the projects I am constantly working on.
Some strange lady with an even weirder husband and a son that I met when I got out of the Navy in 04.
The 5 of us are always out doing stuff and screwing around together. She breaks stuff her husband and I fix it, and its pretty much a repeat cycle from there.

I used to be big into the Jeep clubs and auto shows and crap and I got sick of the idiots. The 5 of us all get along great and we just do our own thing now. Sometimes we do a larger group with a few other friends, but it gets too hectic with large groups.

Very high. Probably gonna start with smaller stuff until I need tires next year and then I will lift it. I found bumpers online for under $100 that just need to be welded so I will probably order those.

Plans are,

2.5-4" lift
37's
17's
Bumpers
flat fenders or cut my stockers

and thats probably it for now. I have a CB that I will throw in there too.

Who makes that one? I like it and the tire gate but don't like the basket on the gate.

LOD. My dad has that but without the tire swing or anything, just the bumper. They have a bumper with tire swing, the rest is bolt on accessories. I think.

He has this front bumper too, with a Ramsey winch:
