won 2 awards with her today, one was for 3rd in my class, and the other was the recipiant of the zimin memorial award... the back story i got is about 10 years ago pacific coast corvette club had a youngster in the club that had an 1980 corvette, he was 18 yerars old, and i guess he had passed 2 years later due to cancer, so they made this award to give to young people that are very passionate about the hobby....the awards are made of Myrtlewood

 

Very cool... there's a 'vette show here tomorrow... I have to say I'm dissappointed in the shocker though :-/

i know there is a chevy show at the xXx drive in this weekend, and i know there is a corvette show there next month, i was gonna go, but thats the same weekend as the portland meet... so i guess its going to lose out
