the finished product trimmed the universal pod to fit the pillar did this in a few attempts

first attempt was with the hair dryer, then tried boiling it. but it would not stay ply able long enough so i drimled it up to fit. dam good i say.

it all good. driving all day and i have not seen the gauge go above 150 -160 and it is not distracting at all.

 

Whats that for? (serious), Temperature gauge? (sarcasm)

 

i'd paint to match. it looks good, but it doesn't look factory. i'm kinda ocd about things like that

 

my trany has been slipping and got it serviced. my trans fluid was burned. so i installed the trans temp gauge.

 

i need a new temp gauge my on the dash is broke

 

this gauge was the closest to my stock set as i could find. planning to change the back light to match though. i am keeping the pod black for now because it kind matches the tan/black interior.

 

Looks alright, but would look better if it was painted to match the rest of the interior.

 

i like it. pretty smart thinking too since your tranny temp might be off.
