I don't have a block heater on either one of my trucks, and starting up the Dodge this morning was quite a chore.

It's probably about -4 right now, but it's still too damn cold.

Cold this morning here too, I'm waiting for my Ranger's battery to charge to drop in the car to get to work.

How stiff are your seats in this temperature?

After I bought my 99 Ranger I noticed a plug hanging down form the engine compartment, I was like "WTF." I got the truck new from a dealership in Atlanta, I had no idea what it was because down here in the south thats not common except for diesel trucks. I had to look in the owners manual to make sure it was an engine block heater...lol I just didnt think a truck destined for Georgia would have one, but it did...lol

-18F with 25mph winds sure looks a lot like a F-150 with a skidoo on a trailer to me. LOL

-30F and below is when I plug my Ranger in. Nothing like typical -40F weather to freeze stuff up.

we're not too bad here.. it's about 20 out right now... wind storms are supposed to come through tomorrow and get us down to -10~-5 with the wind chill, which isn't too bad compared to you guys.

sucks though becuase i think i'm supposed to be working on a roof tomorrow, lol. bring on the wind burn! lol.

Couple years ago at my house it was -20f(coldest the thermostat would go) and i road my sled doing 50+mph across fields with a snowmobile suits and gloves. No heated helmet or gloves. Talk about cold my throttle on the sled froze 5 times before i got back home with it. Ran good but i was freezing and my goatee got frozen to my helmet. God the good old days. Also there was 5-15mph wind gust that night too.
