This is what happens when ice

Update: Well, a couple days later, snow happened...

I don't think I have to say much about this...

Except an ice storm rolled through last night, then this happened...

did your hoodlatch bust or did you have it popped for one reason or another?

The hood is popped open so we can have a little extra light while we're working on the transmission.

Oh, believe me. It's been a journey already.
Me and my dad had to travel from Tennessee to Northern Illinois to pick up the new, remanufactured transmission. While we were taking the old one out, we found out that the bell housing on the old trans was cracked and a piece fell on the ground. Apparently, it was possibly a junkyard transmission that was slammed up in by people who didn't care and, in the process, cracked the bell housing...and left it that way. This was before the dealership had it.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing that. It kind of looks like an Evo X.
(Fun Fact, I actually used to live in PA)

Thanks. We're actually almost finished with it. It's up and mounted on the flywheel. All that's left are a couple nuts to screw on and most of it is cake from there on.
As for the A/C. It's drilled to the window sill, so it can't be moved. They're pretty much built for collecting rain water anyway.
