Wheeling in some rain in AZ

A buddy and I did a trail that is pretty fun with some fun obstacles and is about 30 miles long. My first time on this trail since the SAS. I tired all the obstacles except one. I only had to be winched once and pics don't do justice but I was just spinning. If I backed down 6" I would drop down another ledge and it was steep and tippy, but pics make it look easy. The rain is what screwed us up the most! I know my truck would have walked all over the one I skipped and the one I had to winch on. Oh well, I plan on going back the 28th!! Not many pics and hey suck because of the rain all day.

Fun little steep climb. It took some skinny pedal due to the wet rock, but I made it.

Waiting as a Suzuki with Swampers slide all over the rocks trying to climb out of a creek. He ended up blowing his front diff.

We got him out of there. I crawled right up past him and used my rear winch to pull him up and over.

We spent the night up at the top and then played around on the road home.

A view towards the top....trail starts out around 1,700' and finishes close to 6,000'

Pictures were gathered from a few cameras so the quality is what it is. Heck I'm surprised I got this many due to the rain which we'r enot used to here in Arizona!

Yeah with the rain, incline, off camber, and spinning tires it made for some interesting wheeling! The rain makes everythign slick! I wish pictures would do justice to some of this stuff.

The girl in the pink/Green in some pics is my girlfriend. Thanks Randy

Yeah this whole rig flexes a lot!! Where my buddy was pulling a tire I was keeping all 4 of mine on the ground. My wheelbase helps but he said it flexed out extremely well. Here are a few more poser shots....

Nice man!
If you got rain more often you would definitely not have BFG A/T tires. lol
A siped mud terrain would do pretty well out there.

Yeah my next set will be a mud, either KM2 or MTR/K. I got a killer deal on these A/Ts so I'm going to wear them down a bit.

your truck is exactly what i want to build its not super extreme but it can do major stuff. plus you can cruise it down the highway all day and it looks damn good doing it.

its built but simple you know what i mean?

There are quite a few places that are steep as crap and that is the only picture that does justice!! There is also a 2' ledge towards the bottom but since there are no shadows it's hard to see.

It helps out tremendeously to air down. Ride quality, traction, and less punctured tires to name a few benefits. For a year or so I was using a portable Harbor Freight compressor which was a knock off of a Viair Portable. It was slowly dieing so I decided to drop some coin and got an actual Viair compressor and it kicks butt and airs up my 35's fast!!
