How-to: Polish heavily oxidized aluminum wheels - Ford Ranger Forums
here is the how to I wrote. shows everything.
for these just 2000 they werent not to bad. normally I use like 800 then 1500 then 2000.
what wet sanding does is cuts down the high oxidization and smooths out the metal you will see after like 2000 how smooth the wheel is its great. then I use a Power ball and the meguiars polish and it polishes right up.

Who needs sleep! Who needs a bigger garage!. So do I !!! I'm getting to that point again where I'm moving two things to get at one thing. When I had it built it was empty until the concrete dried and I'v been stuffing it ever since. Thinking about knocking out the north wall and adding 10 X 24 just to store my Mustang and get my XLT back under a roof again. Watch your step Zach...
