How do you like working on your 4 banger?
I'm running a 94 2.3L 5speed 2wd with 215k. It's been pretty easy to work on except for the spark plugs. I just found out you have to pull the engine to get the oil pan off and get at the oil pump. That's not cool.
I'm going to have to get something newer in the future and I'm wondering what I have to look forward to. Is there anything that sucks to work on that really should have been designed differently? Please post your vehicle specs so I know what your referring to.

spark plugs are easy as pie
i can do all 8 in less than 30 min (extensions and a swivel help a lot)
yes the oil pump is a PITA to get to but its not like you change it every month.
the 2.3 is one of the easiest motors to work on....it was a lot easier in my 87, with no power options or A/C i could almost crawl under the hood to work on it and still have room.
