1987 2.3L: Crank pulley special tool required?
 

So in an effort to make my 1987 ranger (2.3L gas) run right again, I have started the process of replacing the timing belt. My only problem so far is that I cannot replace the belt itself nor see the timing marks without removing the crankshaft pulley; however, there are no threaded holes or any obvious way to attach any conventional puller to the quite stuck pulley. I have pictures attached that show what I am working with. There is a round protruding piece with a lip in two sections with holes running perpendicular to the crankshaft. There are two holes, one opposite the other. Is there some kind of puller I need?
I asked my local O'reilleys about it and they didnt have anything, and nobody on YouTube seems to have the same weird pulley. I have tried making several pullers utilizing the two holes with no success. Bear with me, my phone's camera lense is physically broken so just squint.

But you have to be careful not to bend the pulley, of course
Usually if you just get some pressure on the pulley you can hit the unit with rubber mallet and it will start to slide out

Hey thanks for all the feedback! I have tried using a three armed puller on it and bent it slightly, I think i will keep applying penetrating fluid daily and try the mallet strategy. I had been tapping on the A/C pulley (my truck doesn't have A/C) with a small hammer while there is tension on the pully, obviously to no avail.

Update: I finally got the pulley off, I ended up making a plate that slid in behind the pulley to distribute the forced of the three jaw puller to keep the pulley safe. It took a good amount of force to get off.
