1987 2.3L - Valve stuck ? Feels like running on 3 cyl. - Video Inside

Having some trouble with my 1987 2.3L ranger - 2wd - Non AC - 107k miles.

The truck feels like its running on 3 cylinders and occasionally stalls. Motor has a pretty good shake to it while idling as well.

Recently replaced injectors, rotor, cap, wire, spark plugs. Timing belt was done approx 30k miles ago.

Put seafoam into it.

Problem persists - where to go from here ? Located outside Philadelphia if someone wants to lend a hand as well !

Welcome to the forum.

Is the check engine light on??? If so retrieve codes and post them.

I assume all parts were installed to hopefully fix the miss??

What kind of plugs installed??? and were they gapped correctly???

Have you doubled checked the firing order and made sure plug wires were not installed to incorrect clyinders???

I would remove the valve cover and check the valve train to make sure none of the rocker arms are not loose. To me it sounds like a loose rocker arm causing a valve not to operate propperly. (Not opening)

Also check for vacuum leaks???

Also do a compression test of all clyinders. Write the numbers down and post. I would do this before removing valve cover. It will tell you if there is a valve train issue or not.
