1994 ranger 2.3 liter

I have been told by two shops that my Ranger must have the throttle body removed to replace the 8 spark plugs but I don't believe them.

Are they lying?

Thank you.

Chuck

Yes

I have a 94 ranger 2.3 5speed. I change my plugs and wires myself without taking anything apart. It is a very tight fit to remove the 3 rear (drivers side) but it is possible!

I had a shop tell me that it was impossible to change them unless you remove the throttle body but how I said it is possible. They just want to make a profit off you.

They're full of it. Use a wobbly joint and magnetic spark plug socket. It's much easier than you think hardest part fo me was removing plug wire
