Im about to rebuild a 97 2.3 sohc Ford l4 and could use all the tips I can get

 

The furthest I’ve gone on the Lima was a timing belt change, but with that said I’d recommend just googling ‘2.3 Lima rebuild’ and reading and watching as many videos as possible. This engine has been around a while on many different vehicles, so whether you’re rebuilding for extra power or more reliability someone has done it and posted about it. And most importantly, take your time and put everything back correctly. Spending hours in an engine bay just for your truck not to start isn’t fun, ask me how I know 🙄.
