Icon10 2.3l Rebuild

Im thinking of rebuilding my 2.3l in my ranger and bouring it out and carberating it and changeing some other stuff in the motor and turbo charge it i just go a lot of money from a accident. the reason im sticking with the 2.3l is that i like that motor. it will be a while before i can do it though.

you would be better off putting a 302 in it...the 2.3 was a good motor but i would spend the money on a 302...plus theres a bigger aftermarket out there for the 302

hey man,

a v-8 swap would get you the power you want and yes you would have to spend some money on suspension to support the weight of the 302 and the power train.

much cheaper than a turbo or a supercharger, check the site out , people have done both and the v-8 swap is the cheapest.
