Icon4 2.5 lima to 2.3 duratec swap

Okay guys, Ive done all the searching I can do and have found very little info on this. I have an 01' 2wd with the 2.5 lima and manual transmission. I just bought an 02' (wrecked) which of course has the 2.3 duratec in it, it's an automatic 2wd. I'd like to swap to the duratec in my 01' because of all the benefits of the duratec (better gas mileage, more power, newer technology etc.). I know I'll have to use the motor and transmission which will require me to find a good manual tranny for the 2.3 because the 02' has an automatic in it and I really don't want an auto, plus it would be less work to keep mine a manual. I understand that I will have to change out all the accessories, ECU ( I understand I'll have to find an ECU for a 2.3 with a manual because mine is an automatic) and the engine harness but what about the chassis harness? Wouldn't it be the same as my 01'? Also, I'm assuming I will need a driveshaft out of a manual 2.3 duratec truck as well or will my driveshaft off my 2.5 work? I'm just trying to get all my ducks in a row before I start this swap so maybe it'll go as smooth as possible. I'm sure I'm missing some questions that I'll think of as soon as I hit the submit button down here but oh well, maybe some of you guys can chime in and give me some expert advice on the topic. Hopefully someone has done this swap before and can give me some pointers. But I don't know, maybe I'm the only person crazy enough to ****** a perfectly running engine out of a truck just to replace it with one that gets better gas mileage ha ha...

Thanks in advance for your valuable time guys, I really respect and appreciate people who spend countless hours on forums to help people with problems and questions, even as crazy as some may be ha ha...

It would certainly be nice if I could use my current tranny from the 2.5 lima, but I thought I read somewhere that the 2.3 duratec uses a different tranny. I would imagine there would at least be some difference in the bellhousing because the motor was already being used in other vehicles I think, isn't it a derivative of the focus engine? I may be wrong though. Maybe someone can chime in and clear this up.

Thanks
