2.5l Performance Rebuild
I am rebuilding my entire 2000 ford ranger 2.5l 2x4 5 speed, I am going to rebuild the 2.5 that's in it, but I was having trouble finding any performance rebuild kits for this engine, Do any of these exist? And can you please give me a link to them? Another question I have is can these engines be swapped to a carb intake, are there parts or kits to do it?Any help will be appreciated

The 2.5l Lima engine is a stroked 2.3l engine, same block, heads, pistons, intakes and exhausts
Only the crank and connecting rods are different giving it a longer stroke and .2l more displacement.
There are performance upgrades for the 2.3l, read here: Ford 2.3L Performance - Route 66 Hot Rod High
Since they use the same heads and the 2.3l Lima used carbs in early 1980's you can indeed use carbs, although fuel injection is much better for daily driver.
And there would be no distributor option on the 2.5l block, 2.3l blocks were changed in the early 1990's and distributor hole was removed
The 2.3l Limas came in Mustangs and T-birds, even turbo charged in the late 1980's
Mustang forums are a very good source for "been there done that" changes that work or didn't work on the 2.3l limas
