93 - 97 factory headers (almost)

I know their not a true performance mod but i want them anyway - got a set for $65, may be high but their mine now. On their way now.

1. Will they need a diff gasket or same as cast manifold - I will have to get a new one.

2. Are the bolts the same or diff - I think longer ?

3. I know about adding the oxy sensor bung if it does not have one.

4. What is the bolt size for new header - I want order SS bolts.

Advantages

1. They bolt on with few changes
2. I'm going to get them ceramic coated.
3. After on,I am going to have new exhaust dual. with flowmaster 40's installed

Ok I got this whole post about covered in a thread I started on fordrangerforum.com

1. Gasket is the same and is interchangeable from 1983-2001

2 & 4. Bolts are same but longer. All are M10x1.5x60mm (flange head). 13mm wrench size and 20 mm flange diameter. The back two are the same except they have a M8x1.25 30 (or 25) mm stud on the top of the bolt head for the engine lift eyelet (yours may not have this)

3. for 93-94 headers there is already an O2 bung in the collector. 95-97 O2 bung was past the flange on the cat pipe. Ford changed this because the o2 on the 93-94 was mounted between where cylinders 1 and 3 exit so 2 and 4 just blow right over it. Mounting it farther down allowed the exhaust to mix more/ hit the o2 sensor better.

Here is my post if it will show up (read both pages):

Thank you for responding. The manifold I ordered was from 93-94 truck. It does have the egr and o2 sensor like you said. I received it just a day ago. I also measured the bolt reguired and i agree 60mm m10. I just have to order some bolts, hoping to use stainless.
Trying to build more of show (cruise in) motor. It will never go fast so I have make it purdy. I have a alum valve cover with fins powder coated in black. Removed powder coating on fins showing alum. I also want to get another intake plenum with 2.3 on it and Ford. Do it in black also and remove to to show script.
I bought a powder coat gun and oven (used) with 15 bottles of color and chrome (Eastwood) To do anything else.

So I have got my spring planned !!!!!!
