94 2.3l 5 spd shifting issues

It's getting difficult to shift, mainly when I first start it and take it out of gear, and try to put it in reverse. It just doesn't want to go and ends up grinding once before it will finally go. After that, it shifts a little better.

A few days ago, my husband noticed a small puddle under the truck, but we didn't know if it was rain runoff from the house, so I rolled it out of the carport a little, and there was thin watery liquid dripping steadily from the transmission.

Your prolly out of tranny fluid or it REALLY needs to be changed there should be two plugs on your trans on the drivers side iirc the top plug is the check plug the bottom one is the drain plug see what the fluid looks/smells like and report back. Good luck!
