Check Engine Light P1506

Got a check engine light today on my 2.5L. It is P1506. IAC Overspeed Error. Anyone ever get this? I've had the problem in the last month with the truck reving high when I push in the clutch coming to a stop. It will sit at around 1300 until I come to a complete stop then it will drop down to 900. Should I try cleaning the IAC? If so, with what? Or should I just buy a new one?

Also had two P0000 codes.

I see. I've been looking online and it says some people destroyed theirs using Carb Cleaner. I figured that electric cleaner would be safe.

I cleaned it with MAF cleaner and no light as of this evening. We will see if it comes back.

I replaced the IAC with a brand new one. I am still getting the code. If anything, the new one made it worse.

Check the butterfly shaft on the throttle body for any play up/down , side-to-side. Too much play will not let the butterfly close properly against the bore until engine vibration wiggles it closed. Also the slop in the shaft will cause a vac leak.
