Not sure what a 2.5 engine looks like. Mine only has 3 bolts and a hose to remove.

The valve is a 1-1/16" (I'm 99% sure on that) and it helps to have a crows foot. The bolts going to the intake are 10mm. Do the one on the tube first, then the intake. Re-install in reverse.. These intakes are super weak, so be careful when you're putting it back together or you'll cross thread the intake bolts, and possibly start a crack.

Not at the moment.
Backside of the upper intake manifold, right up top on the driver side. There's a little plastic hose with a rubber elbow plugged in the top. The EGR tube is metal and runs down around the back of the motor to the header. That should help you find it.

I'm doing the EGR Valve now as we speak on a 4.0. Lol. It is such a PITA as I don't have a good tool to turn the big bolt... I feel like I'm going to break it off if the plastic intake tube if I turn too hard. About to undo the 2 bolts on the intake side and then breaker bar the big one so I don't crack the plastic...

Ya I got around to doing mine finally. 27mm wrench fit perfectly and 2 10mm bolts. Mines a 4.0 though...

Just adding that... That's all... Why so serious?

That huge bolt to the exhaust needs to be soaked in MOOVIT lube. Stuff is AWESOME. I let mine soak overnight. Then I just used a cresent wrench.
