Hey guys my '99 2.5L is beeping at me. I've got a check engine code i need to go have read but when i start the truck after the normal dinger goes away i get a beep.. it beeps (dings) 5 times waits about 5-8 seconds and does it again for prolly 5 minutes? Any ideas?

 

The Restraints (airbag) light is so important that Ford added an audible backup to warn you if it stops working. That is the 5 beeps that you hear after startup. Repair the Restraints indicator light (possibly a bulb problem) and then have repairs made to the Restraints System for any problems indicated by the airbag Lamp Flash Code(s).
