Desprate help needed for 2.0L

OK I have a 1984 Ranger with the 2.0L I-4 with a 4 speed transmisssion. The engine is blowen and I am trying to decide on what I want to do with it.

I am kicking around the ideal of rebuilding the 2.0 but I want to add a cam and header to it to get the power up on it.

So does anyone know where I can get some proformance parts for it.

Thanks

You can toss it in the trash. Upgrading to a 3.0 would be worlds better. **** i'd go upgrade to a 4.0. But building a 2.0 seems like a waste of time to me to be honest. Your perfomance will honestly suck because its such a tiny engine.

Is'nt the 3.0 a fuel injected V6?

I wouldn't mind switching to a V6 I would just prefer to get into the the whole switching over from a carberated engine system to a electronic fuel injected system.

Also if the 3.3 is not fuel injected what Transmission would I need to get to put behind it?

Seriously? Swapping in a 3.0L would be a complete waste of time for the amount of work it would be. Drop in a 5.0L v8 with a carb and a 5 speed and it will make your 84 ranger a whole new truck

What would be the best Transmission to put behind the 302?

I would prefer to keep it a manual transmission.
