Exhaust Manifold Leak

I have a 2.5L engine and I have tracked the exhaust leak down to manifold/block and the manifold/catalytic converter. I believe that I'm leaking from both of these areas.

Can anyone tell me how this would effect engine performance AND if the exhaust manifolds on these engines are prone to warping?

I'm debating on getting a new/used manifold and having it machined flat and then doing a swap. I have to use this truck as my daily driver so I can't really go without it while a machine shop does it's business.

Also, what is the best way to get those darn bolts loose!!!! :scared1:

I can't seem to find a header for a 2.5L engine :(

Trust me, I'd LOVE to.

i did some looking around and found out the 2.3L header will work on your truck.
"the JD header does have the egr fitting, all that it needs is the O2 sensor bung."
