i have a 98 2.5 ranger and here recently i noticed while i'm applying the pedal going up a hill it cuts back on power, so bad it slightly jerks you. the a/c has been unhooked and all of the main sensors have been replaced along with plugs and plug wires.when i come to a stop the truck comes a rough idle like it's about to shut off but shortly corrects it's self. any suggestions?

well I had this same problem. well something similar.... If you turn on your truck when its dark out, lift the hood. look at the spark plug wires. if they glow that could be it. and to make sure you don't have any spark leak, pull the throttle cable a little bit. Thats the only way I could tell that I had an issue with the wires. it would Idle rough sometimes and just have no power at low end at all. so yeah. just check up on the wires and plugs see if that helps at all.
