how to install a msd blaster coil on a 85 tfi ignition
 

i have a 85 efi 2.3 and i just bought a msd blaster 2 cylinder coil and am confused on how to hook it up i know you cut the 2 + and - and hook them up to the new terminals but on one of the 2 red wires it runs to some sort of cylinder and looks like it grounds to the original coil and also does the 2.3 have a ballast resistor already or do i need to get one or can it be ran without one

the red cylinder coming off the positive is the feed back capacitor (filter) but im still confused about the ignition ballast
