iat resistor
 

my friend has a tahoe and he put two resistors into the plug for his iat sensor so it reads 58 degrees(he owns scan tool) which is the optimal hp temp. he got the resistors at radio shack is there resistors i can put on my iat plug to get optimal hp?

don't do it. the air fuel mixture will be off when it's not 58 degrees outside. obviously the sensor is there for a reason. if your getting 100 degree air and your getting fuel for 58 degree weather, it's not going to help anything. just provide a very rich running condition. bad idea.
