Lifter/Rocker arm intermittent rattle.

Hey guys, trying to diagnose an issue here. I have a 97 with the 2.3 sohc. I noticed that it has a rattle that sounds like its coming from the top end of the motor. However it only does it at 3k rpms or around 70mph and 3k. I checked the clearance between the lifters when there was no cam load on them and they all seem fine. None of them seemed loose that I could tell and they seemed to be getting plenty of oil. I'm unsure of what the issue could be. Any help is greatly appreciated!
