My motor was running great . Stopped and filled up with gas . Left the station and truck is running great.Traveled 5.2 miles and stopped at a traffic light. Motor died and now it will not start.
Fuel pressure at the fuel rail is 58 lb.
Changed Crankshaft sensor , Camshaft sensor, and both ignition coils .
Battery is fully charged.
When the engine stopped the check engine light came on. Checked for codes with my scanner. No codes but light still on .
Removed ground cable and jumped the cable to the positive side of the battery.. Engine light still on and scanner shows no problem.
Shout ether into the throttle body and replaced the air tube from the air filter and still no start.
I ordered a new ECU that will be hear next week. I am mechanically incline but I am OLE SCHOOL.. This is new to me.
Any help would be appreciated.

 

Might want to check the gas in your tank, could have bought bad gas with a lot of water in it, or accidently put diesel in.

That 5.2 miles would have been the gas that was in the fuel line.


The check engine light came on because the engine isn't running.

 

I shout ether into the throttle body and replaced the air tube back to the throttle body and no response .
