No pickup

I have a 94 XLT. it has no pickup what so ever, it takes awhile for it to get up to speed and when it does start going it will shift and then go back to the way it was. If im going up a steep hill i lose speed. Any thoughts about what might be wrong?

clean your intake, change 02 sensors upgrade pullies, buy an e-fan, get a Bama Tuner. Buy a truck with a real engine.
