high mileage clusters.....
I have a 95 ranger...my orig. cluster has 267k on it and the odometer and trip quit working. so i went to JY and bought another one that had 229k on it...once it hit 230k,now its starting to intermitenly work...so i have an 01+ cluster that i am goin to swap out the actual trip/odometer unit out of, that has 127k on it (and i did shanes cluster trick and rolled the mileage up to 287k) which is closer ballpark of what truck actually has on it.....kinda goin into uncharted waters here so i'll see how this works and let you guys know that are experiancing this same problem, works.

^^ yep thats it....its really not hard once you get into the cluster...just remember to hook the battery up to the speedo before you pull the needle so you dont loose you calibration on it. done some more research and found a few lil things out...gonna try some stuff this weekend and i'll post up some stuff that i have discovered and hopefully fixed!!
