Hi, I have a 1983 Ranger, 2.3l 4-speed 4X4. I am having a carb issue. If i pull out normal it sputters and stumbles until higher revs. Also will back fire at times. If I floor it and let the clutch fly the tires will spin and she takes off good. It seems to clear up as enginie warms up but I haven't had it out for exteneded periods of time to confirm. "Just purchased and I am still in process of making it road legal". Anyone have any tuning ideas for this??? It has new plugs and wires. Carb is not original it is off of a bronco II but it is clean and in "like new" condition. Thanks for any help
