PCV Valve Part Number for 1997 Ranger XLT 2.3L

Finally was able to find the PVC valve on my 1997 Ranger XLT 2.3L (4-cylinder) automatic. Since the valve has never been replaced (that I know of -- owned the truck since 20k miles), and the truck now has 118k miles, I figured I'd replace it as maintenance.

The problem is, the PCV valve that is on the truck looks like this (what Napa says is the part for a 1997 Mazda B2300 pickup):

NAPAONLINE

but Napa says the correct part for the 1997 Ranger is:

NAPAONLINE

The one that is on the truck right now, has 2 ports on the elbow, one of the ports has a large vacuum hose going into the throttle body (I guess), and the other smaller vacuum port is not connecting to anything, and is not capped.

My question is: which part is correct? Is there supposed to be the uncapped port on the PCV Valve for this truck?

Thanks!

Actually, Napa's part is the correct one -- the original PCV Valve that was on the truck had the second nipple/port but it is a solid piece of plastic (so no hole/leak).

The instructions in this other thread:

made it simple to install -- 10 min job.
