Question about cam position sensors

Working with my 99 Ranger and I noticed something in the stats table on FORSCAN (Russian bootleg ford IDS software lol) and when viewing the cam position sensor status it gives me 2 states, high and low.

SO I noticed it's flipping between high and low very rapidly through the rpm band, and I think how it's supposed to work is low at low rpm and high at high rpm...

so do I have an electrical problem or is this normal?

I'll attach my graphs for ya
