replacing timing belt--quick start to test?

I'm replacing the timing belt on my 99 2.5. Everything is going smoothly so far. Before I reassemble everything, is there any reason why I could do a quick start and run (maybe 20-30 seconds) to test before I reinstall the cooling system, power steering, etc? Thanks!

Crank sensor and its tone wheel needs to be in place or engine will not start

But its OK to start a COLD engine without cooling system and run it for a short time, under 1min with no coolant, 2 min with coolant and no water pump
