Stalling / Jerky in 2nd gear
 

I just bought my first Ford! 1992 4 Cyl 2.3L with 350,000KM.

But now for the bad news....
It's stalling or something when I try to shift sometimes.
It's just not second gear that it's doing it but trying to jump to third is still doing it.

It's almost like a stall but more violent.

If I push the clutch pedal when it happens, it goes away.

There doesn't seem to be a difference what RPM I shift in. It's random.

Is this a clutch issue? Transmission issue?

It holds an idle fine when you're sitting still in neutral I'm assuming then? Does it actually go into 2nd and 3rd without issue?

Yes, it sits fine in idle.
Yes, the shifting itself is fine. Once I have shifted, it starts to buck sometimes, especially on lower RPM or when I punch it.

You ever find an answer OP?

Any luck of you to get it to pur right? I'd really like to have hair in the future.😭
