Timing issues

I have a 97 2.3 with 260K miles. It started missing and running very rough like it had jumped time. When I shut the engine off, it would not crank again. I have good spark from the ignition and good oil pressure. I had a new timing belt installed and the engine timing reset. It still will not crank. The ignition still seams to be out of time. Help!

Can't tell. It still tries to crank, but just will not catch up and run. It had a massive vibration before i turned it off, like it was only running on a couple of cylinders.

so your getting spark in every cylinder, when you try to start it does it even push exhaust out or just air, check for fuel, make sure the pump works, and then check for pressure, might just have an ober clogged fuel filter, you can always try scanning, idk if obd II are suppose to be scanned when the engine is warm like and OBD I

I found a solution to my problem. With 260k miles on the engine, time to replace it. I found a good used engine out of a wrecked 96' Mazda for $450. On the road again!
