I know what you mean. It would be cool to have a fast 4 banger. You could dump 4 - 8k into a 4 banger and make it as fast or faster then a stock V-8 or dump 2k into the V-8 and make it alot faster then the 8k 4 banger.

i was in the same boat
im going turbo
V-8 is alot cheaper and more aftermarket support
but the reason im going turbo is cuz i got tired of all the V8 ownere ie mustangs hating on 4bangers so im gonna show what us "4 bangers" can do

I thought about both for my truck and I decided I am going to go with the turbo. I think that would be sick to have a v8 in my truck though.

If gas was still $1 a gallon, i'd say do the v8...but with gas being expensive, if this is your daily driver, do the turbo 4 banger.

Jus throw in the one from your garage. It will work, the explorer 302 is just a slightly better fit for your truck.
