how can i give my 91 ranger with a 2.3L more power to pull bigger tires

gears....373's or 410's depends on what size tire your gonna run...turbo would work to, but too much expensive crap to buy to make it all work right and prob cost more than the truck is worth..lol

theres a tag on one of the bolts on the diff cover.. it has a number on it.... EXAMPLE 3 08p7453 whatever..lol

IIRC the first 3 #'s will give you the gear ratio EXample 3 08 is 308's 4 10 is 410's so on and so fourth

well what comes stock could be 355's or 352's could be 373's or 308's or even 410's you'll have to look at the dog tag on the rear diff bolt to get the # and see what you have but i would think that either 373's or 410's would do you good.

since you don't have a duratec there are lots of possibilties. check out "stinger performance". systems avaiable at that site producing 250-600 hp plus.
