hi my name is rob, and i have an 89' ranger.now a buddy of mine has a carb. 302 from a old f150. just wondering what it would all take to maybe do a little swappy swap.theres a 2.3l five speed in er' right now, so any input is greatly appreciated.thanx!!!

This is a well established swap that uses mostly factory parts and there is aftermarket support for the rest. The best way to start is to do some reading.

yep guys, i just purchased another 89 ranger (parts truck) and a carb 302 and a t-5 for a hundred bucks!!!! now the t-5 came out of a 89-93 four banger mustang.i know that i'll prolly have to rebuild it to withstand v-8 power, and also buy a bell housing for her to.so if any body has some parts that r just layin around let me know.i'll buy em'. thanx!!
