I have a 1989 Ford Ranger 2.3 and the motor went bad so I purchased one but it came out of a 1992 Ranger it's also a 2.3 but I noticed the alternator bolts up different and it also wires up different than my 89 model does.

So will the 92 2.3 motor work in my 89 if so what will I have to change in order for it to work?
