1996 ford ranger 2.3l auxiliary shaft
The pulley on the Auxiliary shaft (the timing pulley that supposedly does nothing on my truck) seems to have thrown a bearing. It just wobbles around on the bolt. Well i was realized to find this was the cause of the noise coming from the engine instead of it being messed up valves or something. Or so i thought.....
I figured hey all i need to do is replace the pulley and I'm back on the road. Yeah the thing is how do i get the bolt out. the middle of the pulley which I'm assuming used to hold a bearing is just a huge hole now and the bolt just spins on what I'm assuming is a shaft its screwed in to.
So the question is how can I get the bolt out of the aux shaft to change the pulley out.
