Why under and better strength how? There should be more than enough room on top.

If you have to ask why under is stronger, maybe you should research the topic so you can learn some interesting stuff.

Under will be cheaper, easier, stronger. No downside for my purposes.

Small update, still in the collecting parts phase so not a whole lot going on at this point.

But I've decided to not do an SAS on my 06. And to buy an old first gen ranger to turn into a trail rig.

So the SAS is still planned, but on a different truck! Figured I'd be better off having a truck specifically for the trails. And keep my 06 how it is for now, maybe long travel in the future when its paid off.

Will update again when more is going on!

Small progress update. Been super busy with work, rest of my family went to Hawaii for holidays, so I've been doing all the house **** as well.

Haven't had a lot of time yo work on the axle. But slowly I'm getting it ready.

Punched the ball joints out. So its for sandblasting, then ready to have the truss, c gussets. And tracbar mount welded on. After that, its gears/locker and all the other goodies for the axle. Axle *should* be done by the end of January. Unless shipping takes forever. Which being in Canada it probably will. So to be safe I'm hoping January, but most likely mid February.

After that, long arms, and I'll have to figure out my steering. Then its all done.
