I remember that phase of life and found out the hard way .
'tearin up the woods an....' only made one look like an a$$ with that attitude .

I don't care how old you are or how much $$ you have , just wreaking havock (sp) and ripping things up won't make you any more special in anyone's eyes but your own .
At best the judge will give you community service after you try showing off to impress someone with what your 'truck' can do .

edit
sorry , haven't had my RDA of fiber today.

Im not trying to impress anyone or speed I want to be able to climb an get stuck an unstuck without breaking so if you don't have any usefull info about keepin my truck movin in the harshest of terrains than don't bother posting here

ok, here is some real advice for you :)

you are new so you need to spend sometime on here. the more time you spend reading, searching, lurking, asking questions the more you will know. everything you asked can be found in various parts of the forum. just spend a few weeks looking around and you will know what to do. go to therangerstation.com also. Lots of good early ranger info there. We are mostly 98+ around here.

BTW the best of the best is a 302-351 V8 with twin full width D60 axles from an early 60s ford truck with manual tranny and manual transfer case. Then makes a fully caged frame. Then you will be awesome.
