Ok, got a question for anyone that's got time to answer. My buddy that has done some sas on vehicles and is pretty mechanically inclined told me for my steering box I dont need to plate my frame on my 98 ranger. He said he feels if I drill holes for the bolts but make them big enough for sleeves to fit in them and have the sleeves welded on both sides then the sleeves will take the pressure. I feel I need a plate on outside behind box, if not on both sides of frame and have sleeves welded to frame and plate. Any advice would be appreciated
