Again sorry for the crappy pics:

Welded up a plate to straighten out the frame a bit for the coil buckets:

And I decided to drill some holes in the middle and weld it back up to reinforce the middle of the plate a bit

lol. I just saw this thread. I started going through it and realized those were the same pics you sent me.

My wife laughed when she saw all the stuff you bought back in September, you must have gotten a big paycheck

I have the lift now, I'm only a couple weeks away from installing it all (waiting on wheels now)

Your truck looks good, I just can't wait to see mine with that lift

Yea your truck should look awesome with the lift... I've been wanting to do this axle swap for forever now and I finally went ahead and did it. Its been a pain in the butt but it's getting there. I still have plenty to do so hopefully I can get it done by christmas time.

you might want to plate where your track bar goes to the frame. i didnt nd my frame split around it and i had to redo it and reinforce it. looks pretty much the same as mine tho lol

I concentrated mainly on the long arm brackets today. I havent finished but here is some progress pictures. I added a Ballistic Fab Skull to give it a little character. I actually think it looks really cool.

Nice progress.

How much thread should be showing on those arms? Will that leave enough engaged in the arms?

I don't foresee any problems. I did it this way for any adjustments, if any, that maybe needed during my build or alignment purposes.

Really, all I have left is to make the transmission cross-member, brakes, shocks, steering shaft, make a new longer drag link, move the axle over just a tad to the driver side, and finish plating and sleeve the frame for the steering box as well as the plumbing for the power steering fluid. That should do it. Shouldn't be long until I start getting some flex pics!!!
