DangerRanger1 04-13-2010 12:30 AM

rstangboi 04-13-2010 03:54 AM

DangerRanger1 04-13-2010 06:07 AM

You won't get anywhere close to a direct swap when doing a SAS.

DangerRanger1 04-13-2010 07:34 AM

alright

01RangerEdge 04-13-2010 07:36 AM

You're better off doing something custom, it gives you a chance to tweak everything and make it even better than any kind of stock setup.

DangerRanger1 04-13-2010 08:04 AM

thats what i was thinkin justin everythings gonna be custom

Downey 04-13-2010 09:05 AM

the easiest set up IMO is to use radius arms and coils like evans truck that beard build. idk where the pictures went you will have to ask beard about them

DangerRanger1 04-13-2010 09:18 AM

thank you cameron, thats what i wanted to hear the easiest setup.

Downey 04-13-2010 09:20 AM

yea man no problems thats probably how im going to do my truck. i tried to find the pictures a while ago and i couldnt beard has them some place. pm him

DangerRanger1 04-13-2010 09:22 AM

DangerRanger1 04-13-2010 09:35 AM

sweet, looks like it will work

DangerRanger1 04-13-2010 09:42 AM

Hardest part will probably be all the steering linkage and stuff but should be nice and confusing lol

05edge 04-13-2010 09:46 AM

i think the easiest and probably the cheapest set up would be a jeep d30 for the front axle and a ranger lvl2 8.8 in the rear. how big of tires do you want to run?

01RangerEdge 04-13-2010 09:46 AM

I just met a guy that used a 79 D44, he narrowed it a bit, but used the steering that came with the truck and he even kept the 6 in lift that his Ranger already had.

He started with a 93 Ranger, I think it would be possible just to use the steering setup of the donor front axle, if you get it.

DangerRanger1 04-13-2010 09:49 AM

well idk prolly like 35-38, but i would love to have my truck as high as the one in ur avatar, (the red one)

Downey 04-13-2010 09:50 AM

dana 30 is junk
