i was wonderin on how to do this, and what is the biggest axle you can use for this swap?, and will the ford 9 inch fit in the back?. Anybody that knows anything about this would be able to help me out alot.
dude, all you have to do is search. theres been plenty done.

shouldnt be too hard, theres atleast 3 off the top of my head that are going on right now, including my own.

You're better off doing something custom, it gives you a chance to tweak everything and make it even better than any kind of stock setup.
thats what i was thinkin justin everythings gonna be custom
the easiest set up IMO is to use radius arms and coils like evans truck that beard build. idk where the pictures went you will have to ask beard about them
thank you cameron, thats what i wanted to hear the easiest setup.
yea man no problems thats probably how im going to do my truck. i tried to find the pictures a while ago and i couldnt beard has them some place. pm him
beard is the username?
zabeard is his username
alright thanks
i cant find evans build thread either
sweet, looks like it will work
Hardest part will probably be all the steering linkage and stuff but should be nice and confusing lol
i think the easiest and probably the cheapest set up would be a jeep d30 for the front axle and a ranger lvl2 8.8 in the rear. how big of tires do you want to run?
I just met a guy that used a 79 D44, he narrowed it a bit, but used the steering that came with the truck and he even kept the 6 in lift that his Ranger already had.
He started with a 93 Ranger, I think it would be possible just to use the steering setup of the donor front axle, if you get it. |
well idk prolly like 35-38, but i would love to have my truck as high as the one in ur avatar, (the red one)
dana 30 is junk
